Executive Council Members

The CPO Executive Council is comprised of individuals within the business continuity/disaster recovery industry. The council  
manages the business and provides
strategic and leadership direction of CPO. The council members serve a one year
term and are elected by the members. 
Jody has over 25 years of experience in the information technology industry with the last 11 years focused on the various 
practice areas of
Business Continuity Management. This experience also includes 6 years as a software engineer, over
7 years in project management and 4.5 years
in people management. Jody holds the Certified Business Continuity
Professional (CBCP) certification and has been a member of Continuity Professionals of
Ohio since 2001. She has served on
CPO Council in the following capacities:

Alice has over 31 years’ experience in IT with 28+ years at LexisNexis / Reed Elsevier. Alice began her career 
as a software engineer and quickly
advanced into management. Since beginning her management career in 1989,
she has led many organizations spanning the spectrum from software
development, release management, development
support, daily operations, technology introduction, and culminating in her current role as
Director, Global IT Service Continuity
Management for Reed Elsevier. Alice holds the Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP) certification
with 16+ years’
experience in business/service continuity management. Alice also has 5+ years’ experience serving as a financial officer at the
state and local levels of 501(c)3 and 501(c)6 non-profit organizations. Her duties have included converting manually updated
ledgers to electronic
ledgers and developing a system of financial reports required for regular financial reporting,
budget management and IRS reporting.

Membership Director
Kathy is a certified BC professional with over 25 years experience in various aspects of IT, business continuity, and disaster recovery. 
Kathy has been a member of CPO since 2006 serving as North Region Program Director from 2006 – 2009, Vice President from 2010 - 2015, 
annual Conference Chair for 2012 and 2013, and currently serves as the Membership Director.

Todd Litman
Todd Litman, CBCP, has thirteen years of business continuity management experience and is currently a Vice President & Principal Business Continuity Coordinator 
at Fifth Third Bank. His business continuity management experience and responsibilities encompass program governance, awareness and training, BC & DR plan
maintenance, alternate workplace standards and strategies, facilitating annual integrated disaster recovery exercises, third party resiliency, cyber resiliency,
event/incident/crisis management, and many other activities. Todd entered into his current role after a 7 year stint as a Central Operations manager. During that
time his responsibilities included establishing the strategic direction and maintaining business continuity plans for geographically dispersed departments. Todd holds
an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan and a BBA from the University of Cincinnati.
